Money Hero Quest is an educational record-keeping tool. "Coins" in the app are records only. We never hold, store, transfer, or process real money, and we are not a bank, e-money issuer, wallet, remittance or payment service under Malaysian law. Any real money exchanged (allowances, wish payments, hand-overs) happens entirely between family members, outside the app.
Adult ("Coin Keeper") accounts may only be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18+. Keepers create and control child ("Hero") accounts and are responsible for them, including credentials and invite links they generate. Invite links act as credentials — share them privately and revoke unused ones. You are responsible for activity under your family's accounts.
The app's records represent commitments within your family (e.g. coins a Keeper has promised). Honouring those commitments is solely between family members. We are not a party to, and bear no liability for, any promise, payment, or dispute between users.
You agree not to: misuse the service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access other families' data; probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service; or create accounts with false parental status. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Lessons, scores, and coaching tips are general educational content, not financial, legal, or professional advice. "Money Sense" indicators are informal heuristics, not certified assessments.
The core app is free. Premium is an optional paid upgrade for the whole family. New families get a free Premium trial; when it ends, the family simply returns to the free plan — nothing is charged automatically unless you choose a monthly plan.
Yearly plan: a one-time payment for 12 months of Premium. It does not renew automatically. Monthly plan: renews every month on your card until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Manage subscription in the Keeper dashboard; Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit at checkout and include any applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never receive your card or bank details. Paying early adds to any remaining trial or Premium days.
Free plan limits. The free plan includes one Hero per family; families who joined before 25 October 2026 keep their earlier limit of three. Founding Family price. Families who buy a yearly plan at the Founding Family price keep that same price for every later yearly renewal, for as long as Money Hero Quest offers yearly plans, provided they renew within 30 days of their Premium ending.
Refunds: if you're not happy, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Payments are for Premium features only — they are never stored, held or moved as money for your children.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We will make reasonable efforts to protect records, but you should use the built-in export feature for your own copies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between family members. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the preceding 12 months (RM0 for free accounts).
You may stop using the service and delete your family's data at any time via the dashboard. On termination, records are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
